Release the Shackles

Perfect Challenge for my card is: Simply Sunday Challenge-Argh Matey!!

I wanted to make a card for my Son's best friends graduation and birthday with the saying Release the Shackles.  This cut from Buccaneer was so perfect.  I didn't actually have a stamp with this saying so I typed it up and printed it on cardstock to put on the inside of my card.  All the papers are from the Cartridge as well, I cut the two pirates at 5", so my card is a bit bigger then A2.

Recipe:
PaperTrey Inc: Kraft, Vintage Cream Cardstock & Twine
Cricut: Buccaneer Imagine Cartridge
Tim Holtz: Distress Ink, Walnut Stain & Distresser

I had a comment from Lisa at A Mermaids Craft on how I did the edges on the paper.  Actually it is a cut from the Imagine Buccaneer Cartridge, I just trimmed one edge to fit my paper distress the edges and inked them up.  Kind of makes it look like the edges are burned.

What an awesome card!! I love the cuts and the way you added the twine. The edges of the paper look so cool-the edges do look burned. Nice job!

This is so cute! I know it shouldn't say cute cause it is a boy card, but it is :)
The pirates are perfect.
