Spring time is finally here!!!

Cricut Cards Challenge #16 & Paper Cutz Challenge #32

This weeks Challenge was to create a card for Spring using any Cartridge or color combinations. Your card must have flowers, birds or butterflies. I am for sure ready for spring time to arrive. This weekend was an amazing one, much needed beautiful weather. I took advantage of the sunshine and took my pictures outside.
For my cards I used the Butterfly from the Indie Art Cartridge. I just purchased this cart on clearance at Joanne's. I used cardstock from My Minds Eye Photo Mat Stack. I layered the butterfly using UTEE for the wings and used Diamond Dust glitter. I also used prima flowers, my Cuttle Bug, Fiskers punch and brads. I enjoyed making this card, hope the Birthday Girl enjoys it as much as I do.

Guitar Birthday Card

I needed to make a few cards for some guys and thought this would be perfect. Both of them love music. I used the Indie Art Cart and cut out the guitar at 3.5 using the blackout feature to layer the guitar. I also took advantage of the amazingly beautiful day and took my picture outside. I tucked the card in between bark on a pine tree, this made an awesome background for my photo.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #14

Luck of the Irish!
For this weeks Challenge card I used Black Cardstock from Paper Trey Inc, and Patterned Cardstock from DCWV Doodlin' Around Stack. I cut out the Pot of Gold and Clovers from Paper Doll Dress up, using Liquid Pearls in gold to make the gold coins. Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
