Arrrgh, another Birthday

I made this card for one of my Nephew's that is having a birthday this month.  I really think he will like it.  I used the Buccaneer Imagine Cartridge, cut the pirate out at 4", the flag at 1.5 and the banner at 1.5.  The sentiment is from K. Andrew Designs: Pirate Tales & Fish Scales.

I really have to admit that I have been lazy this month.  I've been busy making my cards, making peanut brittle and getting ready for our Annual Holiday Party so my posts have been short and sweet and I haven't had much time to visit other sites and comment on everyones wonderful Holiday cards and projects.  Enjoy! And Happy Holidays.

Christmas Cards

This year I cheated and used my Imagine for my cards.  They were so easy to make and quick.  I did make 20 cards this year using my Cricut Imagine and the Quilted Christmas Cartridge but forgot to take a photo before sending them out.  I used the Santa coming down the chimney cut, and it took forever to put them together.  That's why the rest of my cards I used my Imagine.  I think next year I'll start a little earlier.  (I think I say that every year)

Farm Girl

I had to come up with two cards for my Sister in Law that is turning 40 and my husbands Aunt that is turning 50.  I made the same card for them but changed around the sentiment for the age.  I know that our Aunt will love the card, because she Love's to ride her tractor.  (I think)

Happy Birthday to the Chef..

It's my Mom's Birthday this month and she loves to be in the kitchen.  She love's to cook, mostly desserts.  I thought this card would be perfect for her.  She received it in the mail right on her birthday and she loved it.
It came out so cute, with little work with the Imagine.

Halloween 2012

I made a few different cards for Halloween this year to give out to friends and family.  I picked just a few styles and made a lot of each.  I tried to make it easy so the cards are pretty simple.  I used Happy Hauntings for all of them, again, simple.

Recipe:
Happy Hauntings: Witches hat 3.25", Owl 3.4", Headless horseman 3.75'
Recollections: Halloween Collection, solid colored cardstock
October Afternoon: Wahsi Tape, Witch Hazel
My Creative Time: Curly Label Die, Treats for my sweet
Distress Ink: Dusty Concord

Hello There..

These cards were very easy to make with the help of the Simon Says Stamps and Die set.  I choose coordinating papers and just stamped right on the patterned cardstock and paper pieced everything together.  So easy and pretty.  You can make these cards for any season just by changing out the colors of the paper.  I'm gonna try a fall card next and see how that looks.
