Release the Shackles

Perfect Challenge for my card is: Simply Sunday Challenge-Argh Matey!!

I wanted to make a card for my Son's best friends graduation and birthday with the saying Release the Shackles.  This cut from Buccaneer was so perfect.  I didn't actually have a stamp with this saying so I typed it up and printed it on cardstock to put on the inside of my card.  All the papers are from the Cartridge as well, I cut the two pirates at 5", so my card is a bit bigger then A2.

PaperTrey Inc: Kraft, Vintage Cream Cardstock & Twine
Cricut: Buccaneer Imagine Cartridge
Tim Holtz: Distress Ink, Walnut Stain & Distresser

I had a comment from Lisa at A Mermaids Craft on how I did the edges on the paper.  Actually it is a cut from the Imagine Buccaneer Cartridge, I just trimmed one edge to fit my paper distress the edges and inked them up.  Kind of makes it look like the edges are burned.

The Fish was THIS Big

My picture is not very good at all, I had a hard time for some reason with the lighting while trying to take this one.  It really did come out better in person.  I wanted to make a card for a friend of ours Birthday that loves fishing.  I actually based the card on the paper first then found the cut.
