Gift Tag with Gift

Here are the Kahlua bottles with the tags that I made to go with them.  I used Martha Stewarts Bottle labels I found at Micheals on clearance.  They worked out so perfectly.  Then I added my own touch with the handmade tags.  Our friends and family enjoy recieving our homemade Kahlua and we enjoy making it for them.

Gift Tags

Each year my husband and I make something for our guest that come to our Christmas Party, this year we made Kahlua.  I wanted to make a tag for the bottles that they could reuse.  I had a lot of fun making these tags, they came out so cute.  Thanks to my Son's girlfriend that helped me put together 25 flowers.

Suspension Card- Birthday

Happy Birthday Mom!!

For my Dad's birthday I made a special shaped card so I figured I needed to do the same for my Mom's, I love the way this card came out.  This is my new favorite and will for sure be making more of them in the future.  I got the idea of this swing type card from SplitCoast Stampers.  I'm not sure what my style is yet because I love to try different techniques and styles, but I do love to make cards that the receiver will enjoy.

Another card using the Sentiment: Conserve Water, Drink Beer

I had to make a quick and simple card for a birthday, I couldn't resist using this cut along with the sentiment.  I placed acetate on the mug to make it appear like glass.  You can't really see it in the photo but in person it looks pretty neat.

Swim with the Dolphin's

Swim with the Dolphin's or just goldfish......

I enjoyed making this card so much.  It's for my friend to give to her son for his Birthday, she said anything fish will do.  He really enjoys fishing but this will work too.  I used acetate to place in the front to make the appearance of looking through glass.  It really looks much better in person.

Nifty Fifities Fun

I found the perfect picture frames for this at Micheal's, they have foam tape in between the two mat layers making it lift just enough to put a 3D cut inside.  They came out so good, these were gifts for my Dad's birthday in September to hang in his pool table room.

My Craft Space:
My space is a spare bedroom that we made from half of our garage.  We no longer use it for the original purpose, so it is now my craft room.  However, we still have visitors every once in a while so we keep a TV, Dresser and Bed in the room.  I'm actually standing on the bed to take the photo.  Maybe one day I will post individual photos so you can see better.  But for now I think you get the idea and see where I work.

So the real reason of the post is because Cards by Jovan is doing a giveaway.  She has finally revealed wall 4 of her new craft room.  If you haven't seen it yet, it's amazing.  You can see it here: http://www.cardsbyjovan.com/2011/10/craft-room-reveal-wall-four.html
For the give away, you just need to upload a picture of your work area.  The giveaway is a stamp set donated by Emma of "My Creative Time.  If you haven't seen her site, you should she also is amazing.

I found this Diamond Fold Card on Creations with Christina's website here: http://www.creationswithchristina.com/2011/09/cwc-9611-diamond-fold-card.html
After watching her video I know I had to make this card.  I love the way it came out, it's definitely something different.  My Dad loves anything sailing so I thought this would be perfect for him.  Plus I was able to use up.....you guessed it, scraps.

Happy Halloween!

Here's another Halloween card I made for two challenges.  I'm actually early this year and think I will knock out all my Halloween cards early this year.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #91: The challenge for this week is "Things That Go Bump in the Night!" Make a card for Halloween with the spookiest, scariest image you can find on any cartridge(s), and using  any colors you’d like.

And

Disstress it over at http://polkadoodle.blogspot.com/  Scrunching, inking, tearing, sanding, infact whatever distressing technique you love 'Distress it' challenge.

Also found the perfect spot to photograph the card, in the moss that is growing from a Cypress tree in my front yard.  It's actually pretty neat looking.  I distressed and inked the edges of the purple cardstock to make it a little scarier.
