I hope everyone had a Wonderful Holiday! I took a little break from my blog to complete all of my Christmas cards, holiday decorating and shopping. I have an extremely large family and send out lots of cards. Everyone enjoys my homemade cards so If I were to send out store bought, I would not hear the end of it. This year I made just over 100 cards. Enjoy.........................

Sorry I have been gone for a while, I still have been making cards and crafting. I actually just finished a 14 page scrapbook! Just haven't really gotten back into posting my stuff at the time. Earlier in October we tragically lost a very young family member and it's be a extremely tough for everyone, so we have been spending more time with family members over the last 3 weeks trying to help ease the pain. Family and friends are truly amazing during tragic times like this and very much appreciated. The love and prayers everyone shows are so special now and always. Thanks to everyone for your support, love and prayers. We will get through this and one day be reunited with everyone we have lost.

On the 3rd Day of Halloween - Rag Doll
You can find the challenge here http://simplybettychallenges.blogspot.com/
The challenge is to create a card using Sally as your main Rag doll! You can also follow the links to the others on the design team, they are all so wonderful. I found the Images online and used Photoshop to create the colors of Sally and the Sign. The background paper is from K & Company Tim Coffey Halloween Mat Stack. Spiderweb cut @ 5" from Paper Doll Dress up Cricut Cart. Martha Stewart Spider punch for the spiders and Black Diamond & Orange Peel stickles. I know just the right person to give this one too!

Cards made by S & A
The top two cards were made by My Son: The Guitar Card is his very first card, he made for his brother for his birthday and the second card he made for his Dad for his birthday. I just love the Whale tale coming out of the Pelican's mouth. What a great idea he came up with. Too Cute!
My Son's girlfriend made these two cards the penguin is her very first card. It all started when she needed to make a name plate for her desk at school. I love watching the excitement on her face when she is designing. They both did an awesome job on the cards!

Companion Challenge: Birthday Bash!
I made this Birthday card for a Friends father that turned 90 Years Old, what an accomplishment. This gentleman was in World War II and a pilot on a Bomber Plane. This card was so perfect for him. I did not see him open the card and his reaction, but from what I heard it is now on display on his fridge at home. He loved it!!

You Rock-Teen Card
It's been a while since I entered a Challenge. This Teen card is for Cricut Cardz Challenge #36, make a teen birthday card using any cartridge or color you'd like.
Sorry if the pictures did not come out well. I found it hard to photograph the card due to the silver cardstock and it was raining outside, so had to take it indoors. I made this card for my Son's birthday this week. He likes things like this and if you've seen his room you will know this is perfect for him.

The top card was an inspiration from Kristina Werner in A Year in Cards-July 2010. Cards with repetition, I used vellum paper on the bottom and stamped the butterflies in repetition. The paper used on both cards was from The Blossoms & Butterflies stack from DCWV and Paper Trey Inc cardstock.

Graduation Card
I made this graduation card for someone that really likes elephants. I used Create a Critter and Everyday paper dolls for the cuts. Thanks to Made by Momo for such a cute tutorial on her graduation card. Be sure to check it out, she is such an inspiration.
My First Mini Album
This is my very first attempt at a mini album. I did blur the name on the front cover, but used K&Company Adhesive Chipboard Woodgrain Alpha. The paper is also from K&Company, Sea Glass. I used various embellishments from the same collection along with prima flowers to match. I used my cricut on a few cuts and the cuttlebug.
