Anchor's Away

While blog hopping and watching You Tube videos I came across Make it Monday # 146Angled Backgrounds from PaperTrey Ink.   I immediately knew what to do with the scraps from my last set of cards.  I save ALL of my scraps no matter what size, you never know when your going to need them!  Plus I just loved the patterns and colors of the papers I had to use them.  Now I need to use up more of them and this way is perfect.

Swim with the Dolphin's

Swim with the Dolphin's or just goldfish......

I enjoyed making this card so much.  It's for my friend to give to her son for his Birthday, she said anything fish will do.  He really enjoys fishing but this will work too.  I used acetate to place in the front to make the appearance of looking through glass.  It really looks much better in person.

Tiki birthday Card

This is the first time I've used this cut from Life's a Beach, I love they way it turned out.  I had to cut the Tiki 3 times to get the different colors of the faces.  Of Coarse I used all Scraps, slowly getting my scraps down.  Can't wait until they are all gone.......

Get Well soon CCCC#23

Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge #23- This Challenge is to use the Wild Card Cartridge.  I have to say this is one cartridge that I do not use much at all so this was for sure a challenge for me.

I made this card for my Uncle who is sick and has been hospitalized for about a week now.  I think he will like it and hopefully lift his spirits a little......

I used the Argyle cute form the Wild Card Cartridge and the sailboat from Life's a Beach.  I used various scarps of paper from Recollections and PaperTrey Inc.  The Card is cut at 5.5 and the sailboat at 3.75.  I also made the envelope to match.

All made from Scraps

I really do hate having so many scrap pieces of paper.  I do not throw anything away if it's bigger then around an inch.  The following cards were made from mostly ALL scraps.  I did throw in a few new pieces of cardstock.  Enjoy!!

I just love this card, although I did scrap lift it from http://www.creationswithchristina.com/  Check out her site, she is awesome.

This photograph is what inspired me to make the card below.

Surf's Up! Bitten by the Bug2 Challenge

Bitten by the Bug2 Life's a Beach Challenge....Lizard Cut. Life's a Beach is one of my Favorite Carts, I just love all the cuts on it especially the Lizard.

I used pop dots on the feet and positioned them in to make him look like he is raised up on the board. I curled his tail so that was sticking up too. Looks better in person then the picture.

You Rock-Teen Card

It's been a while since I entered a Challenge. This Teen card is for Cricut Cardz Challenge #36, make a teen birthday card using any cartridge or color you'd like.

Sorry if the pictures did not come out well. I found it hard to photograph the card due to the silver cardstock and it was raining outside, so had to take it indoors. I made this card for my Son's birthday this week. He likes things like this and if you've seen his room you will know this is perfect for him.
